It's Show Time!!!! My kiddos performed with frens from 5H on Monday. They had stage fright..OMG!!!!..How unbelievable...*faint* Anyway they share a poem on Respect which is the class value.
The poem was an effort of the whole class and this is how it goes,
Respect
Polite, Considerate
Listening, Understanding, Helping
All Good Has Been Made
Caring, Sharing, Learning
Respectful, Responsible
Eliasians

Yesterday, we had a cooking lesson! We made popcorns in the Science Lab. What an experience!

I modified a campfire popcorn recipe to be a Sci Lab popcorn recipe. I hoped my pupils had fun and learned a trick or two. In the end, some had the chance to taste their end-product while others...could only juz watch....as theirs were burnt!

For those who wants to try again at home or at a campfire...here's the recipe

Prep: 5 min, Cook: 10 min.
1 Tbs. plus 1 tsp. oil
1/4 cup unpopped popcorn
aluminum foil
4 wooden sticks
1/2 tsp. salt, or to taste
2 tsp. butter, melted, optional
Put oil and popcorn in the center of a large piece of foil. Fold the corners of the foil to make a pouch. Tie pouch to a stick and hold over campfire. Shake constantly until all the popcorn pops. Top with salt and melted butter if desired.

Pls do it only with your parents' permission or supervision!!!!
